CARRIER MPLS SERVICE

The Epsilon MPLS product is  a Carrier MPLS Service designed to provide both L2 and L3 VPN services across a High End Core Platform; it is embedded into the Epsilon Carrier Ethernet Network and extends to over 50 POP’s Globally.  The Epsilon Global Network has NNI’s established to over 250 Local and International Carriers across its Global footprint, all who choose Epsilon to provide quick, flexible and reliable transport services at both the Layer 1 and Layer 2 transport protocols.  Using established NNI’s, customers now have access to a Global MPLS service while enjoying the same service delivery quality, network availability and backbone divesity offered by the Epsilon Global Network.

Epsilon operates a strict non competition policy with its customers, therefore the MPLS product is offered to Carrier Customers who require a common and neutral platform for exchange of Voice and Data Traffic.  The MPLS service can be offered either POP to POP or POP to B end, all leveraging on many years of procurement experience and in territory knowledge.  Epsilon additionally operates a “best of breed” policy, choosing only the strongest and most viable offnet local tail parties to deliver services into the B End address; where POP to B End services are required.

The Epsilon MPLS service can be either ‘managed’ or ‘unmanaged’ to provide its customer with an outstanding and guaranteed level of quality and security.  The MPLS service is a cost effective alternative to the traditional model of delivering VPN’s over many and costly IPLC’s.  A single connection to the Epsilon MPLS Network opens the gate to a multitude of Global Carrier Connections, which makes international networking much easier and more effective.

Epsilon MPLS Network has Differentiated Classes of Service (CoS) to support voice and data integration. It also enables customers to prioritise applications carried over their network. Customers can perform data applications, (such as file sharing, ERP, database access, etc.), voice and video conferencing across locations with the desired quality through Epsilons advanced Quality-of-Service (QoS) feature.
